Cool off with delicious Arkansas watermelons at Bernice Garden Watermelon FEST, this Sunday, July 8 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Watermelon FEST will be held in conjunction with the weekly Bernice Garden Farmers’ Market. In addition to the usual market fare, live music, and good friends, there will be great family activities like Watermelon Eating Contest, Seed-Spitting Contest, and kids’ scavenger hunt.

Josh Hardin of Laughing Stock Farms and Hardin Farms will donate yummy watermelons to get the competitions going. Winners will receive gift certificates to the Bernice Garden Farmers’ Market and local stores.

The Bernice Garden is located on 1401 South Main Street in downtown Little Rock.
