Join the Arkansas Local Food Network (ALFN) for Health n’ Food Workshop: The Secret Lives of Okra and Peppers, Saturday, August 25 between 10-11 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church (6th and Scott streets) in downtown Little Rock.
Amie Lein will share nutritional information on okra and peppers and ways to cook these delicious summer vegetables. In addition, a celebrity farmer will discuss how they are grown.
Space is limited to 10 spots. Cost is $10 per ticket and comes with a bag of okra and peppers.
