Join Larkmartin & Co. for Beginning Cold Process Soapmaking classes.
Classes will be held on:
- Monday, September 3 – 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Monday, September 17 – 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The class is geared toward beginning soapmakers interested in the cold process method of soapmaking. Topics covered include:
- Proper use of lye and safe handling
- Mixing lye and water
- Oils, fragrance oils vs. essential oils,
- Additives
- Molds
- Curing
- Packaging
- List of favorite vendors
Please dress to get messy! Long sleeves and closed toed shoes required.
All supplies provided, including goggles, gloves, stick blender, ingredients and mold. You will leave with 1 pound of soap to be cured at your home!
